Emmy award-winning video production agency Puritano Media Group (PMG) is seeking a part-time Outreach & Marketing Manager. 

 

The Outreach & Marketing Manager develops and implements multichannel marketing strategies, with the primary objectives of generating interest, increasing name recognition, expanding online presence, and acquiring new clients for PMG. The Outreach & Marketing Manager works with the CEO to create new content and management strategies for PMG’s social media channels, website, email promotions, newsletters, and online advertisements. The Outreach & Marketing Manager also researches, develops, and executes new approaches for acquiring clients, and creates informational materials and proposals customized towards prospective clients as necessary. 

 

This position has flexible hours, and can be performed partially or entirely remotely. Some in-office hours are preferred, but not required. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Develops and executes effective multichannel marketing and outreach strategies to generate interest and name recognition for PMG. Contacts prospective clients and interested parties on behalf of PMG, through mediums such as email, social media messaging, and cold calling.

• Tracks and analyzes the performance of implemented strategies to continually improve efforts and optimize efficacy. Researches and pursues existing RFPs (Requests for Proposals) relevant to PMG’s offerings. 

• Creates compelling and thorough proposals for PMG in response to existing RFPs.

• Researches grants and funding for original PMG projects and creates slide decks for pitches

• Creates persuasive copy for the purposes of marketing PMG to clients and on social media.

• Develops and executes effective client acquisition strategies. 

• Performs market research and analysis to identify new prospective markets, clients, and leads.

• Pursues client leads by creating targeted marketing materials and/or opening lines of direct communication. 

• Manages PMG’s online presence, including the curation and assisting in the creation of new content for:

  • Social media platforms. 

  • PMG’s website. 

  • Email promotions. 

  • Newsletters. 

  • Blog posts. 

  • Paid and free digital advertisements.

• Generates PMG contracts for new clients and projects. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

 

Applicant Requirements & Preferences 

• Relevant educational and industry experience, such as a degree in multimedia, marketing, business, or a related discipline.. 

• We are looking for an eager, resourceful and results-oriented person who would like to advance their career in marketing, business, or media. 

• Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills required. Particular emphasis on professional, client-facing communications.  Knowledge of, and/or experience with, integrated multichannel social media management. 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in a collaborative work environment.

• Strong organizational skills and project management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with consistent attention to detail.

• Brilliant creativity in the areas of content creation, copywriting, and strategy development.

• Enthusiasm and the ability to take initiative.
