PMG TEAM PROFILE: Meet Kevin P. Baker!

Let’s meet Kevin P. Baker, our talented new Production Specialist! Kevin is from Rockville, Maryland. Kevin comes from a sports-heavy background, which helped him develop a strong sense of teamwork and an even stronger work ethic. Kevin graduated Magna Cum Laude

from Stevenson University in 2022, with a degree in Film and Moving Image. While at Stevenson

, he received an award for Best Director, and he worked on the Stevenson University Sports Broadcast Team.

Kevin hangs a softbox at an impossible angle with ease.

Kevin is a member of IATSE 487 and has worked freelance in G&E (Grip and Electric) around the DMV area, including projects for the Washington Capitals, Paramount’s Cross Series, and much more commercial work. Kevin has been freelancing with PMG for three years, and has worked as a grip, gaffer, assistant camera, and editor. Maya Elby, a producer at PMG, has this to say: “Kevin’s unwaveringly positive attitude, professionalism, and kindness makes him stand out as one of the best collaborators I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with on set. Kevin always gets the job done, and makes everyone’s day brighter as he does it.” Kevin’s favorite films are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and his favorite animals are hammerhead sharks. Kevin hopes to continue growing as a filmmaker by working on more large-scale projects in the future.
